In the development of this family of LEDs, Splash Lights recognized the need to avoid two features that are common to other LED pool lights:-

• The 'pencil beam' characteristics of LED forward illumination.
• The uncomfortable glare arising from high-powered small-aperture lighting.

Instead the new LEDs takes the reflector principle, adopted in the 'dekko' system, and 'smooths' out the LED light beams before emerging through the broad-aperture diffusing lens. This combination of reflected, diffused, and broad-aperture projection means that the illumination of the pool is evenly spread, powerful and comfortable.
